Securing Chrome Browser and Web Filtering in Android

IT Administrator can remotely configure the Google Android Chrome browser policies using the Codeproof EMM. This feature is available on Android for Work (Device owner and Profile owner) enabled devices. The following chrome policies are available as of now.

Website Restrictions:

Bookmarks Management:

Search provider Configuration:

Settings:

NetworkPredictionOptions (DNS Prefetching)

 

Example: Blocking website www.facebook.com in Chrome browser.

  • Enter facebook.com in the blacklist
