How to Data Wipe a device?
Using Codeproof Cloud Console, The MDM administrator can remotely date wipe or erase the device. Please follow below steps.
- First go to the Policy Manager tab in the top menu.
- Select the device that you want to “Data Wipe”.
- Once you have selected the device, head to the Command Center tab.
- Click on the "Select Command" button to bring the dropdown menu.
- Once in the dropdown menu click the Data Wipe button and then hit Send Command to Device.
- Now the device will erase itself and come back to factory default. All the Mobile device management policies will be removed from the device. Now you can right click and remove the device node entry from the Policy Manager.
