How to turn off Passcode Lock on iPhone and iPad

This article explains how to turn off passcode lock on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch devices.

iOS 7 instructions:

  1. Open "Settings" App on your iPhone or iPad, or iPod Touch devices.
  2. Scroll down below and select "Touch Id & Passcode" or simply "Passcode" option.
  3. Enter your current passcode to continue.
  4. Then scroll down and tap on "Turn Passcode Off". Enter your current passcode to continue. Se below.

iPhone:

iPad:

Turn off passcode on iPad

iOS 6 and below instructions:-

1. Open "Settings App" on your iPhone or iPad, or iPod Touch devices

2. Then select "General" from left panel

3. Select "Passcode Lock" on right side. Enter your current passcode to continue.

4. Now tap on "Turn Passcode Off". Enter your current passcode to continue. Now Passcode lock will be turned off.
