Blocking the default applications in Apple Devices

Satish Shetty Updated by Satish Shetty

The Codeproof MDM/EMM platform allows IT administrators to remotely block or allow specific apps on supervised iPhone and iPad devices. Both whitelisting and blacklisting options are available.

Here are the steps:

  1. Login to Cloud Console and then go to Mobile Policy Manager from the top menu.
  2. Select an iOS Device or a group of devices from the left-side tree panel.
  3. Now go to "iOS Restrictions" from the right-side tab.
  4. If you want to block few apps, use Application Blacklisting option.
  5. If you want to block all the apps and keep only few apps, then use Application whitelisting option.
  6. Apps will be immediately hidden in the device and can be re-enabled later if required. See below image illustrations.
