Force Syncing contacts in the Contact Manager

The Codeproof platform offers cloud-based contact management. Occasionally, the contacts are out of sync and have to be force synced. To force sync contacts in the Contacts Manager, follow the instructions below.

Steps:

  1. Login to Cloud Console
  2. Go to Policy Manager
  3. On the left side panel, select the device node which is out of sync
  4. On right side panel, go to Contacts Manager
  5. Delete all existing contacts by clicking on Delete All Contacts. Click Save on the bottom right corner to save your selection.
  6. On the left side panel, right click on the the device node and click Refresh to confirm if all the contacts are deleted.
  7. On the right side panel, click on the Inherit checkbox and hit Save to restore the contacts from the parent group node. The device will inherit all the contacts from the parent group.
  8. On the left side panel, select the device node and click Refresh as mentioned in step 6. The contacts will appear in the contacts manager tab.
  9. Under Device Properties > Activity Log, "Added N Contacts" will be displayed. Depending on internet connectivity, force sync may take a few minutes.
Contacts Manager:
