How to Transfer Data with the Samsung Smart Switch App?
What is Samsung Smart Switch?
Samsung Smart Switch is a tool developed by Samsung to help users transfer data from one device to another, typically when switching from an old phone to a new Samsung device. It simplifies the process of moving contacts, messages, photos, apps, settings, and other important data between devices. Smart Switch supports transfers from both Android and iOS devices to Samsung phones or tablets. For more details, please refer to Samsung support page here.

Steps to configure the Samsung Smart Switch application:
- Login to Codeproof console here.
- From the top navigation menu, click on "Policy Manager"
- Select the device node or group from the left-side tree and in the right-side panel, go to "Play Store Manager".
- Under the Approved Apps list, find and select "Samsung Smart Switch Mobile".
- Use the checkbox beside the app to select it.
- Click on "Configure Application".
- In the Managed Configurations window that appears: Locate the setting for "Allow SmartSwitch Run".
- Toggle the checkbox to enable.
- Save the Configuration.
Verification:
- Ensure that the Samsung Smart Switch Mobile app is installed on the device.
